Italy Surrounds Your Farmhouse Villa

The farmhouse villa is situated within the estate of ‘le Coste’ (incorrectly spelt by Google) which, until the last century, was the largest private estate in central Italy. It is now a working farm with 16 buildings in private ownership (including this one), some of which are apartments rented out to those on vacation.

Within the estate, there are 3 swimming pools, 2 tennis courts,  a beautiful table tennis table set within the woodlands, an archery field, a large childrens playground adjoining the swimming pools, a fishing lake and scenic walking and and cycling routes all of which can be used by the owners of the houses together with their family and friends.

The medieval towns of Chiusi and Citta della Pieve are approximately 7 and 12kms respectively with  Montepulciano, Orvieto, Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, Pienza, Montalcino and Cortona all within an hours drive. Rome and Florence are within a couple of hours drive and easily connected by rail and motorway.

Castiglione del Lago and Lake Trasimeno (4th biggest lake in Italy) are a 20 minute drive away as are many beautiful villages, castles, fortresses and vineyards of the area.

The main north/south Motorway (A1) and inter-city railway station are a 15minute drive from the villa. S. Egidio airport just outside Perugia is 45minutes away with the airports in Florence, Rome and Pisa being easily accessible.
